The 200-Acre Best Friend Maker

Cherokee Outdoor YMCA is a 200-acres forested day camp facility and retreat center located on the shores of beautiful Lake Allatoona. Each year, Cherokee Outdoor YMCA provides thousands of children, families, and guests a safe and fun place to enjoy the great outdoors.

Our goal is to share positive outdoor experiences to children through summer day camp and youth programs that support and nurture kids as they grow and learn - while making friendships that can last a lifetime. We pride ourselves in nurturing children, teaching character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, and providing youth and teens with tools that allow them to be productive leaders within our community.

Rentals & Retreats

We offer rentals year round at our beautiful retreat center located right on shores of Lake Allatoona. Our pavilions, playground, large dining hall, sports fields, etc. make the Y a perfect place for meetings, birthdays, reunions, and company events.
